Since 2003 DTAH has acted as coordinating design architect for HUGO BOSS retail stores in Canada, and has been involved with 21 projects to date, including 13 complete stores, 5 renovations/expansions and 3 shop-in-shop retail spaces.
DTAH has been responsible for implementing the concept design developed by designers outside of Canada. The role includes reviewing concept drawings, preparing supplementary drawings as required for local permit, landlord approval, tender and construction, retaining local consultants, sourcing local alternative products, collaborating with local Construction Manager throughout to problem-solve and achieve client quality, cost and schedule objectives.
These high-end retail projects typically involve a complex interior fit-out featuring exclusive custom millwork, dramatic lighting and the highest quality finishes, all delivered under fast-track timelines. The design and execution of the stores successfully reflect the refined elegance of the HUGO BOSS brand.
