Riverdale Presbyterian Church

Having suffered an all too familiar decline in attendance, the congregants of Riverdale Presbyterian Church vacated their main Sanctuary and moved into the smaller Sunday School Chapel located in the northern portion of the building, which served as the Church’s principal Sanctuary.

Having sold the vacant Sanctuary to the south, the Church had the means to thoroughly renovate the northern wing. Modifications included improvements to lighting and finishes, a significant rearrangement of the Sanctuary space, and a revised entrance sequence that includes an accessibility lift. The renovations and additions have rejuvenated the facility and provide the Riverdale neighbourhood with a number of flexible spaces that can accommodate a variety of uses.
