As the leaves start to change and temperatures cool, it’s a great time to get out and explore public spaces. This month, Partner Brent Raymond gave University of Guelph’s Master of Landscape Architecture students a tour of East Bayfront, Queen’s Quay Boulevard, and the Wavedecks and Associate Yvonne Battista gave the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture students a tour of Bayside. All of these projects are part of the ongoing Toronto Central Waterfront revitalization and provide students the opportunity to learn about how public realm improvements and below-grade infrastructure upgrades can dramatically transform a landscape to directly reflect the needs of those who live, work and play there.
