UHN Greenhouse at the 2018 European Healthcare Design Conference

In 2017, DTAH led the feasibility study for a new urban greenhouse at the University Health Network (UHN) Lyndhurst Centre for brain and spinal rehabilitation in Toronto. The proposed greenhouse would provide a therapeutic learning environment for patients and staff, as well as a production greenhouse that would generate healthy food for UHN and its partners. UHN will be presenting this project during their session, Food as Medicine, Farm as Therapy: Planning a Food-based Social Enterprise, on June 12 at the European Healthcare Design 2018 Conference in London, UK.
