Mississauga is evolving, and with growth and change comes a need to plan for and reshape our city spaces in a way that fosters healthy and complete communities where we can live, work, and play. The Reimagining the Mall project will provide policy direction and guidance on the long-term evolution of five areas anchored by indoor shopping malls: Meadowvale Town Centre, Erin Mills Town Centre, South Common Centre, Sheridan Centre, and Rockwood Mall. The project aims to ensure that any future development will improve the quality and functionality of the physical surroundings, promote active lifestyles, and support local retail offerings in a mixed-use environment.

DTAH and urbanMetrics are part of a consulting team led by Gladki Planning for the City of Mississauga's Reimagining the Mall project. Join us for a public open house on September 25 2018, 5-8PM at 300 City Centre Drive, where draft Guiding Principles and examples of how the principles may be applied to the malls and their surrounding areas will be presented.
