Yonge North York BIA Public Realm Plan now complete

We’re thrilled to announce that we have now completed the Yonge North York BIA Public Realm Plan!

Yonge North York BIA is one of the newest and largest BIAs in Toronto. It serves the business community area along the Yonge Street corridor between Hwy 401 & Bishop Avenue. It aspires to become the preferred destination in North Toronto for businesses, residents, and visitors to live, work, and play. DTAH, with Gladki Planning and A.W. Hooker, was engaged to support this vision by outlining methods to improve Yonge North York’s public realm. The document conceptually illustrates projects the BIA could lead or support and provides potential project scheduling and partners to implement these enhancements. 

The Plan was developed in coordination with other major efforts led by the City of Toronto, including the North York Centre Secondary Plan update and the Transform Yonge project. 

We can’t wait to see how the neighbourhood will transform in the upcoming years!
