The Children’s Garden at Evergreen Brick Works is now open to the public!

DTAH and LGA Architectural Partners, in joint venture, have been involved in a series of campus-wide updates at Evergreen Brick Works. As part of these improvements, the Children’s Garden has been updated to create an inviting, inclusive outdoor environment that can better adapt to evolving site programming. The new Geoff Cape Amphitheater within the Garden features accessible seating for all ages and a feather-shaped arbour roof inspired by Anishinaabeg teachings, designed in collaboration with Trophic Design. An integrated gathering circle mosaic and fire pit by Ferruccio Sardella further inspires storytelling and connects children to natural elements in a safe, playful manner. As an important gathering space and outdoor classroom, the improvements to the Children’s Garden enhance visitor experience and honour the industrial, Indigenous, and ecological histories of the site.

Visit the Garden and the Geoff Cape Amphitheatre at Evergreen Brick Works! The site is open Monday to Sunday, from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
