COVID-19 measures are currently in place and we are currently operating as a hybrid studio with both in-office and remote-work provisions in effect.
DTAH is an award-winning landscape architecture, architecture, and urban design firm recognized for projects that contribute to a memorable public realm. We provide the highest level of professional service in a truly integrated studio setting that is stimulating, disciplined, congenial and enjoyable. We work hard, we produce great work, and we take pride in our accomplishments.
We are currently looking for a Junior Designer/ Landscape Architect to fill a full-time position in our studio. Project types will include public parks and plazas, streetscapes, waterfronts, transit infrastructure, ecological design, institutional/campus landscapes, and private development.
· Minimum 3+ years of experience with full OALA membership preferred;
· Applicants should have strong design/graphic skill sets;
· Excellent communication skills, and a good team member work ethic;
· Strong time-management skills with experience in complex, multi-disciplinary projects;
· Ability to balance multiple projects with consecutive/overlapping schedules and delivery dates;
· Experience and comfort with producing CAD plans/details and Construction Documents;
· Advanced AutoCAD and experience in SketchUp Rhino skills for 3D visualization, BIM/Revit and Micro Station an asset.

Our supportive, mentorship culture allows everyone to explore professional interests and gain exposure to a broad range of projects. We offer staff a variety of opportunities for professional development as well as social events.

We regularly host in-house professional development sessions and learning opportunities here at the studio. We also provide an allowance for professional development to support the growth of our staff.
In the past we have hosted watercolour painting workshops, volunteered together in the community, and ran gardening initiatives with our in-house Green Team. In light of COVID-19, we often host virtual and outdoor social events.
