DTAH is an award-winning landscape architecture, architecture, and urban design firm recognized for projects that contribute to a memorable public realm. We are currently looking for an Intermediate Landscape Architect to fill a full-time position in our studio. Project types will include public parks, plazas, waterfronts, transit infrastructure, ecological design, institutional/campus landscapes, private development, and street design.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Landscape Architect with the following qualifications and skills:
· A keen curiosity for urban spaces and the public realm, combined with a passion for our profession, a positive attitude, and an openness to new ideas.
· Minimum 5 years of experience;
· Has, or is pursuing professional registration as a Landscape Architect in Ontario, or equivalent;
· Strong technical knowledge and detailing abilities;
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team member.
· Strong time-management skills with experience in complex, multi-disciplinary projects;
· Ability to balance multiple projects with consecutive/overlapping schedules and delivery dates;
· Demonstrated experience with producing CAD/Details and Construction Documents; Advanced AutoCAD skills and experience in BIM/Revit;
· Working knowledge of Toronto Green Standards and LEED;
In addition, the following would be considered as an asset (not required):
· Construction administration experience.
· Experience with Land F/X, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper or MicroStation.
· Experience with Pathfinder, One Click LCA or other carbon accounting software
