DTAH completed the master plan and building schematic for one of Hamilton’s oldest parks at the end of 2006.

With history of hosting many major sports, military, church and civic celebrations. The park originally consisted of a concession stand, washrooms, band stand, and grandstand. The same functional requirements were to remain in new design however; overall site improvement was in precedence. Both the ice rink and building are central in their location reducing site servicing. Although the idea of change to this historic park may have initially caused some doubt with neighbours, the new and improved Dundas Driving Park has impressed everyone. Whether one is enjoying a picnic, show, skate, swim, or a moment of respite, they are beautifully surrounded by the views of the breathtaking escarpment.
