1UPToronto 2018: Toronto's Youth City Building Conference

1UPToronto brings together high school students to shape a better future for Toronto. Hosted by Urban Minds, this year's conference will take place March 10, 2018, at Ryerson University. Through talks and design jams, students will explore real-world urban issues in Toronto, and present innovative solutions through civic tech, public art, urban design and environmental sustainability. DTAH Associate Chris Veres will be attending as a group facilitator for the afternoon design jam competition which will focus on creating a retail street and public spaces as part of Capital Developments new mixed-use community near Bloor and Dufferin.
