The concept design for the Lower Don Trail Accessible Ramp was revealed at a stakeholder meeting on July 19, 2018 at Riverdale Public Library. The new ramp will provide safer and easier access to the Lower Don Trail from the Riverdale Pedestrian Bridge, extending off the north side of the bridge with a switch-back down to the trail, while also creating a destination for new views of the ravine.

The new accessible ramp is part of Phase 2 of the Trail Improvements, which are based on the City of Toronto's Lower Don Trail Access, Environment + Art Master Plan led by DTAH in 2013. DTAH is excited to continue working with the City on the Lower Don Trail Improvements. Learn more
