DTAH Partner, Megan Torza, is part of the two-phase design jury for the LGBTQ2+ National Monument, to be prominently located at the north-east intersection of Wellington Street and Portage Bridge in Ottawa. The site offers public visibility, space for contemplation and space for events. The Monument will reflect the impacts of discrimination experienced by Canada’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community, as well as celebrate those who fight for equality and educate visitors. Five shortlisted teams were recently announced, who will now move into the next stage of the competition.
