Cummer Avenue Church renovation completed

The renovation of Cummer Avenue United Church is complete! Built in 1960, the renovation prioritizes accessibility, adaptability and sustainability – preserving the Midcentury modern style of the original building while supporting flexible worship and community programming in spaces that are accessible, comfortable and energy efficient.

Highlights include a new, welcoming front entrance and administrative offices, an adaptable sanctuary and chapel at the upper level, reimagined auditorium and commercial kitchen on the lower level, and multi-purpose rooms at the rear, all available to support a range of uses.
