The park expansion marks the first completed project delivered through the Green Line Implementation Plan, a City of Toronto initiative led by DTAH that will transform an active transmission corridor into a five-kilometre-long public space.

Located along Geary Avenue between Delaware Avenue and Westmoreland Avenue, the project revitalizes underused land within the transmission corridor into a vibrant neighbourhood park, with new community spaces, responding to the area’s growing cultural and commercial uses. Streetscape improvements link it to the existing Bartlett Parkette, creating a welcoming environment for pedestrians and cyclists.

The park expansion is an important milestone in realizing the Green Line vision and helping foster a safer and more connected neighbourhood. We thank all collaborating firms and the community for their contributions to creating this new public space.
