Seven Xiru Chen

Seven’s professional sensibility has evolved from her experience with a wide range of urban planning and landscape architectural projects, as well as competitions in both academic and professional contexts. Being an architecture lover, award winning photographer, fashion stalker, occasionally painter and poetry writer, Seven’s design inspirations come from across disciplines. Her designs focus on revealing the inherent uniqueness of a site within its cultural and social context, as well as creating fascinating spatial experiences related to place-making. In 2014, Seven won the First Prize in Tirana Architecture Week’s “Lost Architecture” Competition and Most Visionary Idea in Toronto NXT City Prize.
